Fingers that count the minutes
Like golden hours
Upon a ruined face.
They belong to me.

I’m none too frugal.
Spending my days
Combing the surface of
My ugly sum total.

This could very well be
The worst choice I’ll ever make.
Ashes in my begging mouth.
The perfect way to die.

Every note is a letter in your name.
Upon reading, I am truly convinced
That there isn’t anything more.
I want you to save me.

My feet have never been so still.
Eyes shut and feeling the world I don’t want.
Amidst silent sunrise and sunset,
I think I’m ready for the end.
