The Pursuit of Fulfillment

Greetings from the cold, dry fingertips of FDC:

I've spent the past few weeks re-evaluating a few things.... shifting my focus like the movements of glass elements in a lens. I've started what I hope will be the first of a series of proximal steps leading to an ultimate outcome here. I've been foraging like a fucking starved squirrel, gathering the many and varied pieces of my digital life into one solid focal point.

In short, I got all my files back in one place. Took a weekend trip down to the NYC for some MUCH NEEDED R&R after what was an extraordinarily stressful week, even by my standards of late.

For my part, I will say that my mind is quite like a cauldron at this point. It bubbles and foams over, frothing with the heat of creativity and running down the stony, black outer surface, caking sweet chalky potential over the microbumps, while the thick bottom remains awash in the ashes of twice-entertained ideas, long since commited to flames.

Wow, I don't know why I went all poetic there... weird. Anywho, as much as I lament my constant allusions, I have to say it again and again - there are several things in the works, but the primary focus is... well, you know. This is by far the longest bout of downtime in my recent history since like 2001, but I'm working everyday to bring that to a close - even at the risk of sacrificing my social integrity (more on that later).

Keep your minds & eyes open and ready to receive like a cheerleader on prom night, kids.

Fred, out.
