Machine Gun Funk.

OK...

well I've been in kind of a funk lately. It's been ongoing for months now. more like an ugly dark place that seems to only be deepening everyday. I don't really know what to do about it at all. A lot of shit in my life right now is not aligned correctly or going off course, and it sucks. Most recent among them, my mother was hospitalized after extensive surgery... again. She's doing better now though, thankfully.

Now, far be it from me to actually talk about "me" stuff on the HS blog, but it does raise a point relevant to my work.

I've been finding it really hard to get anything done lately. In recent days I have actually been able to work on Gun with some consistency, but in the weeks prior, I was in a slow crawl where I couldn't really accomplish anything and didn't want to do anything. Truth is I'm still in that same place, but I guess my determination to get this project finished has strengthened of late, and I've been able to flip that "fuck it" switch and work anyway. So whether I want to or not, I'm gonna complete this shit and get it out there for all to see... finally.

This is what we call a rough patch. Just stick with me. Your patience will be rewarded.
