Here you'll find all the "Gun" related stuff that never quite made it out in the open! This collection houses developmental materials, storyboards, concepts, deleted or unused material and more. Be thankful... some of this crap could've ended up in the actual series.

ORIGINAL "GUN" EPISODE 1 - FIRST SCENE (2003 VERSION)

This is the first scene of the original version of Gun from 2003. As you can see it is essentially the same, but the character designs were more cartoonish and Kai had a much more childlike appearance. It was produced at 12 frames-per-second, as opposed to Gun's current 15 fps. Also the animation and art was generally lazier and more geometric. Notice the rain that looks like white straws dancing in midair. Not to mention the name Uro City was originally pronounced like "euro" as opposed to the current "ooh-ro". Yep. it was pretty bad.

Looking back on it, it looks really terrible and I'm personally glad that I lost my data after producing this, because it forced me to start anew with a more gritty, mature design. Hell even Kai's voice and face matured. Isn't change wonderful?
