Dubbed by some as "The City of Sadness", Uro is a major metropolitan area in flux. What was once a thriving economic and social community has slowly turned more mundane and decrepit with each new day. In the recent decade there has been a stark polarization of social clusters, with some very specific areas of Uro turning more bleak and criminally potent, while other areas remain vibrant and seemingly immune to the effects of growing criminal activity and social decline throughout the city.

Some would attribute this to the coming of a major organization 15 years ago, BioGenic, who established its new headquarters in Uro City. With it came the promise of new jobs and improved intra-metropolitan economic conditions via outreach programs to improve upon the already picturesque face of Uro. Instead the company has been a socially and economically parasitic presence in the city, establishing business interests in several areas throughout the city, only to have other pre-existing business interests run down, and further forcing many Uro natives out of gainful employment. At the current rate of decline economists estimate that the city will face a financial collapse in less than 4 years. Sociologists agree that the city's social collapse is already in progress.

Uro City is divided into 6 districts, with several small community clusters within them. The districts are - Nagai, Lanaken, Ondari, Central Ondari, Velecia, and Blue Ardical, with Lanaken being at the heart of the city, and Ondari being the largest in geographic area.
